Activities for the first two years 2026/2027
1. Conduct 4 online meetings with the different bodies to further develop de structure of GOAL
2. Execute one research focussing on multiple transitions in the agrarian sector in India
3. Develop a research framework to carry out this research in Ghana and Peru
4. Conduct one international webinar to discuss the findings of the research in India
5. Carry out two researches on multiple transitions in Ghana and Peru
6. Be involved in continuous exchange of information relevant for the organisation of agrarianworkers
7. Develop an international network relevant for GOAL
8. Conduct one physical meeting with all leaders to exchange experiences and mutual learning
9. Develop concrete projects for fund raising purposesBudget
The foundation GOAL will depend on two sources of income:
- Funds from the affiliated unions- External funds to be raised in the first year from donors
At this moment, the GOAL Foundation does not yet have any financial resources.
At the end of the 2nd year, end 2027, we aim for a fixed, freely disposable capital of € 10,000. This amount will be managed in a savings account. The money for this is collected through member unions and external fundraising in accordance with the conditions of donors. The purpose of the own, freely disposable capital is to absorb unforeseen expenses and to guarantee the financial sustainability of the GOAL Foundation.
Board/secretariat members and members of the Advisory Council and support group do not receive any renumeration. When funds have been raised, a paid coordinator will be added to the secretariat in 2027. The foundation currently has no assets.
